Green Reading Directory
The Planet | Water | Ethics | Dwelling | Getting Listed
This directory is not meant to be exhaustive but representative of the best resources towards my goals. I have also included sites that are fun, good or generally handy and I have listed good searches that produce good results. All sites listed here are automatically included into the green search tool. The results look best in a CSS compliant browser but still look OK in things like IE6.

Water
I am going to have to consider the implications of living completely off grid while still obtaining fresh drinking water. What if the main water supply for my area was contaminated? Could I still drink good water and if so how many friends and family could I support and for how long?
These are not answers - these are clues and questions.
Ethical and Ecological Trade and Production
How we treat others and how we treat the land on which we live is just as important as how we treat ourselves and the planet as a whole. These issues can not be separated and isolated because they are part of a great issue. This section focuses on moral and ethical behaviour.
Dwelling
A big part of my dream is where I will live. What sort of thing will I live in? For example will I build a house or live in a yart?
* If you have yet to visit this website you have missed out on something very special.
How to get listed
I'll be honest with you - I can not and do not want to list every blog, site and directry on the web. What I do want to do is give raders a chance to get a good taste of what is out there and that probably means you.
I will, if I can, list every last blog and site that is cool, interersting or usefull and I will know them because they will be well linked from the blogs I read and may also have owners or writers that leave good comments on the blog here. So when you comment don't forget to leave your website address.
I'm not going to create a formal application process because these things just get spammed nor am I going to list anyone who sends begging emails or leaves of topic begging comments (I tried that once for a different site and it was a bad mistake). If your site is good enough I will list it as soon as I see it. You might think I am being funny but you will be suprised how low some people will sink to get a few links.
Other notes
This green and ecological listing uses CSS columns which are not universally supported. If you se the links in one list only then you need a nicer browser - trust me it looks realy good.
